Apple logo Too busy celebrating America’s birthday to check out the tech headlines this weekend? Here’s what you missed.

According to multiple sources, Apple has poached Tag Heuer senior executive Patrick Pruniaux. Given Pruniaux’s background, it’s likely that he’ll find a home among Apple’s sales and marketing efforts for its rumored iWatch. He might not be the only one; 9to5Mac reports that Apple was allegedly attempting to poach more people from Tag Heuer.

Meanwhile, the weekend brought some bad news for porn website promoters. Starting soon, Google will be enforcing the “no super-naughty ads” provision of its AdWords policies, which it first posted in March. Google has started to email advertisers to remind them of the coming crackdown on risqué advertising. While the company isn’t banning adult advertising in general, it is greatly tightening the definition of what it will allow on AdWords.

In other news, Qualcomm added a new tool to its high-speed, wireless networking belt with the $300 million acquisition of WiGig. Should the technology of its newest purchase pan out, consumers might one day see wireless networking speeds more than triple that of some of the fastest routers available today.
