Kanye West’s “Yeezus” tour may be over but the musical artist continues to wow his fans.
West recently released a brief trailer from an upcoming tour film on his official website that later on went viral on other social media sites.
The video features rapid-fire clips of various scenes from the tour, as well as horses running in snow, while music by the singer-composer played in the background.
The trailer directed by Hype Williams debuted during his appearance on the “Late Night With Seth Myers”.
Williams has been directing a number of West’s music videos including “Diamonds From Sierra Leone,” “Stronger” and “Gold Digger.”
During his appearance on the said show, West told Myers, “I’m in the process of breaking down walls. It’d be great if you owned a fashion company; you could support me!” This was after he was asked about his future plans beyond simply making music.
Kanye also talked about how music has changed his life now that he’s a father. He said, “Artistic, intellectual, kid-friendly songs. You go to Europe, there’s nudity on TV. So it’s all in the way you raise and have an understanding and appreciation for what you’re looking at and what you’re hearing and why you’re hearing it.”
He further explained, “If you think about the ‘Yeezus’ album, cursing was definitely necessary. It’d be like if you talked to Quentin Tarantino and asked, ‘Are you gonna make G-rated movies?’ It’s Quentin Tarantino.”
Just last week, novelist and screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis confirmed during an interview with Noisey that he will be collaborating with West on a film project but did not disclose which one in particular it would be.
Ellis is well-known for his books “American Psycho” and “Less Than Zero,” both of which released a movie adaptation.
